Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was amazing, right by the leaning tower, but the room felt a bit outdated, like stepping back into the 70s. The service was top-notch, with helpful staff assisting us even when our satnav led us astray. The dining options were good, but could have been more varied. However, the lack of warm food choices was a drawback. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel is perfectly located with a Faulty Towers feel, offering a terrific view of the tower, cathedral, and baptistry. The rooms, while simply furnished, were very clean, but some street noise could be heard from the main street. The service was exceptionally helpful and friendly, especially with parking challenges near the city center. The dining experience had a good variety of food, although extra charges for some items felt stingy. Overall, a convenient and friendly hotel with excellent views.
The hotel is centrally located, making it perfect for visiting Pisa with a fantastic view of the sites, but the rooms need refreshing and parking can be challenging. The service was very helpful and pleasant, ensuring a pleasant stay overall. Dining options were adequate though self-service, and the facilities were suitable for a comfortable stay in the heart of Pisa.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the bright side, the location is fantastic since it overlooks the main street and is just 100m from the tower, but unfortunately, the room situated over a noisy alleyway made it hard to sleep well being on the 1st floor.
The Grand Hotel Duomo offers a mixed experience with its cramped rooms that need redecorating but redeems itself with its lovely service and excellent location near the leaning tower of Pisa. The dining options are decent, and the facilities are satisfactory.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms and super friendly staff. The dining options were a bit limited, but the pool area was well-maintained and enjoyable. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the Tower. Great value for the price!
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was convenient, right in the heart of the city, but the rooms were a bit outdated and could be noisy. The service was friendly, although not overly enthusiastic. The dining options were mediocre, lacking variety, but the hotel had great access to popular attractions like the Tower.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean, but the old jacuzzi bath and shower didn't work and were filthy. On the bright side, the location was superb, and the staff was fabulous and very helpful.
The hotel offers a great view towards the Tower, especially from the rooms, and the breakfast is top-notch. Waking up a bit early to enjoy it before check-in time is totally worth it. On the downside, the rear view from some rooms is not as nice, but the rooms themselves are comfortable.
My stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations with a few minor drawbacks. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but the mattress needed replacing. The service was a mix of rudeness and helpfulness, and the location was absolutely fantastic. The dining experience had its ups and downs, and overall, the facilities were decent.
The hotel was located right by the leaning tower of Pisa, offering a fabulous experience with magnificent surroundings and a variety of eateries nearby. The rooms, however, were extremely dated and needed considerable upgrading, leading to some noise issues from the main street, but the service was amazing and the staff were very helpful and informative. The breakfast selection was varied, though some items were not appealing. The location, closest to the leaning tower, was perfect for exploring the tourist attractions.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location was amazing, being so close to the Pisa Tower and surrounded by lovely restaurants, the room quality left much to be desired with bugs and an electric socket issue. The service was a bit hit-and-miss, ranging from helpful with taxis to rude interactions. The dining options were decent, but not outstanding. Overall, a stay with highs and lows.
